On Thursday 9th January 2014, the school played host to an extremely informative and well received talk by eminent educationalist, Dr Phil Garner, who gave parents of boys in the Junior and Senior Departments an insightful look at strategies which can be employed to inspire boys to greater achievement both in their studies and upbringing that will help their children succeed in the future. Thought for the Year

11 boys have been entered into a 'Thought for the Year' ISRSA (Independent School Religious Studies Association) competition which asks entrants to ponder the questions 'Where is God in War?'. This takes inspiration from the centenary commemoration of the First World War.

Prizes will be awarded for the best 2-minute submission for each age group (KS3, KS4, KS5) and the overall winner will have their piece broadcast on BBC Radio.
